Rydon
A ride-hailing and food-delivery platform for Ghana — rider and driver mobile apps, real-time matching and tracking, mobile-money payments, and a live-operations admin dashboard.

The problem
Riders in Accra wanted transparent, upfront fares and the option to pay in cash or mobile money, while drivers needed fair matching and clear earnings. That meant two native apps, a public booking site and an operations team dashboard all talking to the same real-time backend.
What we built
Rydon is a full marketplace, not a single app: a rider app, a driver app, a web booking site and an admin dashboard, all coordinated by one API. A Redis-backed matching pool pairs riders with nearby drivers in real time, and Socket.IO keeps both sides — and the operations team — updated on every trip as it happens.
Payments run through a mobile-money and card provider, sign-in uses SMS one-time codes, and safety features like SOS alerts and call proxying protect both riders and drivers.
