Scholarly
An offline-first school management platform for Ghana, Crèche through Senior High — admissions, attendance, academics, report cards, fees and staff in one system that keeps working when the internet doesn’t.

The problem
Schools run on unreliable internet, heavy printing and tight budgets. Most school software assumes a constant connection, so offices fall back to paper the moment the network drops — and fees, marks and attendance end up scattered across notebooks and spreadsheets.
What we built
Scholarly shares one TypeScript core across three shells: a desktop app for the school office, a web portal for parents and remote staff, and a cloud API. Daily work happens on the device and syncs later, using an ordering-and-merge engine that resolves conflicts field by field — while money records are append-only, so a receipt can never be silently overwritten.
Every school is a separate tenant protected by database-level row security, so a proprietor with several schools sees a combined portfolio while each school’s data stays isolated.
